Leigh & Co. Events seeks organized, professional Assistant Wedding Planners to support Lead Planners in executing exceptional wedding days. This role focuses on weekend weddings with pay of $150 per event and opportunities to gain hands-on experience in the wedding industry.

Under the Lead Planner, assistants help with setup, décor placement, vendor coordination, and timeline execution, while maintaining a calm, client-centered approach throughout each event.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting wedding planning or event coordination preferred.
• Weekend availability is required for this role.
• Ability to assist with setup, guest experience, vendor coordination and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ceremony and reception setup according to the floor plan.
• Place décor items such as signage, candles, favors, menus, place cards, and personal details.
• Keep event spaces clean, organized, and presentation-ready throughout the day.
• Welcome and direct vendors upon arrival.
• Assist with ceremony organization and processional timing.
• Help manage guest flow and answer questions during the event.
• Monitor the reception timeline with the Lead Planner.
• Coordinate room flips and reception transitions as needed.
• Support with cake cutting, grand entrances, speeches, dances, bouquet toss, and other moments.
• Collect personal items and ensure décor is packed after the event.
• Maintain calm, professional demeanor and problem-solve as needed.
• Represent Leigh & Co. with professionalism and exceptional client service.
