Holiday Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is seeking a Weekend Warrior Nurse (RN/LPN) for PRN weekend coverage in Rhode Island. Pay is $55/hr for RN and $50/hr for LPN.

The role focuses on delivering skilled nursing care, monitoring residents, and adhering to individualized care plans in a sub-acute/long-term setting. Responsibilities include medication administration, care-plan execution, and collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality resident care and safety standards.

Qualifications

• A current, unencumbered active license to practice as an RN or LPN in Rhode Island.
• Valid BLS (CPR) certification required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple residents in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care per the physician's plan of treatment and the written plan of care.
• Follow and implement care plans developed by the Nurse Manager.
• Perform medication administration and treatments per the plan of care.
• Monitor residents' conditions and report changes promptly to the clinical team.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with orders and policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care.
• Ensure infection control and nursing safety compliance.

PRN opportunitiy available

Work 5 weekends in a row (Saturday & Sunday), and get the 6th off!

RN Pay: $55 an hour

LPN Pay: $50 an hour

Responsibilities for Nurse (RN/LPN):

• Provide resident care in accordance with acceptable standards of nursing practice and the physician’s plan of treatment, as well as the written plan of care.

• Follow and implement care plans developed by the Nurse Manager.

• Perform medication administration and treatments in accordance with the plan of care (POC).

• Monitor and assess residents’ conditions, promptly reporting changes to appropriate clinical team members.

• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and regulatory standards.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and high-quality resident care.

• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, safety standards, and nursing regulations.

Qualifications for Nurse (RN/LPN):

• A current, unencumbered active license to practice as an RN/LPN in the state of Rhode Island.

• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.

• Ability to manage care for multiple residents simultaneously in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
