Job summary

Mount Airy Nursing and Rehab is seeking a Weekend Warrior CNA 1 to deliver high-quality patient care on weekends and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in Mount Airy, MD.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities and creating individualized care plans, while maintaining accurate progress notes and fostering a supportive environment for residents and patients.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland CNA1 certification required.
• Weekend availability and ability to work varying shifts.
• Previous CNA experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting.
• Assist with daily living activities and mobility exercises.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents and patients.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure effective care delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of patient care and progress.

About the Role:

As a Weekend Warrior CNA 1, you will provide high-quality patient care on our weekends while working closely with our interdisciplinary team. Your expertise will be invaluable in creating individualized care plans, assisting with daily living activities, and promoting a positive and supportive environment for our residents and patients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including but not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting
• Assist with daily living activities, such as medication management and mobility exercises
• Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of our residents and patients
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless communication and effective care delivery
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care and progress

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Maryland Board of Nursing CNA1 active certification
