Job summary

Petco is seeking a Weekend Role associate at the Reno Distribution Center. You will pull, pack, and move merchandise, operate powered material handling equipment, and help maintain inventory levels. The position requires lifting up to 50 pounds and successful completion of required certifications, including forklift operation.

The role runs Friday–Monday from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm with OT opportunities. Rate is 20.50 biweekly, with daily pay option available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent (GED).
• Basic math proficiency.
• Ability to repetitively lift and/or move merchandise up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to pass required certification to operate powered material handling equipment.
• Forklift certification or ability to be certified.

Responsibilities

• Pulls merchandise from storage locations and processes orders using RF devices or pick modules.
• Receives, picks, packages, and moves merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds for shipment.
• Replenishes inventory stock.
• Performs inventory counts and reconciliations.
• Unloads incoming shipments and loads outgoing trucks with merchandise.
• Arranges merchandise for stocking and staging in storage locations.
• Packages merchandise for shipment with proper labeling.
