Job summary

Petco Reno, NV is seeking a Distribution Clerk to join our Distribution Center team. You will maintain documentation, support outbound/inbound shipments, and help ensure accurate inventory records while lifting up to 50 pounds and operating warehouse equipment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, basic math, and 6 months to 1 year of clerical experience; familiarity with 10-key by touch and warehouse software is a plus. This weekend shift role emphasizes reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

Basic math proficiency.
Six months to one year of clerical experience preferred, including 10-Key by touch and basic office support duties.

Responsibilities

Set‑up and maintain documentation process for daily outbound deliveries and inbound receiving log, verifying merchandise received matches purchase orders.
Complete damaged merchandise/discrepancy paperwork and prepare damaged merchandise for transfer to RTV.
Maintain Warehouse Management System and use it to research and identify product number, obtain SKU number and locate merchandise within the warehouse.
Observe and promote established safety procedures and maintain a clean warehouse environment.
Assist in quarterly and annual inventories.
Special projects as assigned.
