Job summary

Morgan Pet Clinic in Omaha, Nebraska is seeking a compassionate Weekend Urgent Care Veterinarian to join our team. This role focuses on handling same-day cases, diagnostics, and communicating treatment plans with pet owners, while avoiding overnight emergency shifts.

Qualified candidates will hold a DVM or equivalent degree and Nebraska licensure (or eligibility). We offer a collaborative team, supportive leadership, and a flexible weekend schedule in a well-established small animal practice.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school.
• Nebraska veterinary licensure or eligibility for licensure.
• Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Comfort with urgent care medicine and same-day case management.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat urgent and same-day veterinary cases.
• Perform diagnostics and develop efficient treatment plans.
• Manage urgent medical conditions and soft tissue surgical cases as appropriate.
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients.
• Collaborate with technicians and support staff to ensure smooth patient care.
• Maintain thorough and accurate medical records.
