Job summary

Western Veterinary Partners is seeking Veterinarians to join our Ohana Pet Hospitals teams in Ventura and Santa Paula, California. The position offers base salary with production, Saturday availability, and a pathway to our Urgent Care facility as it grows.

Ideal candidates hold a DVM or VMD, a California veterinary license, and a DEA license. We value exceptional client communication, compassionate care, continuing education, and teamwork within a supportive, inclusive practice.

Qualifications

• Must hold a DVM or VMD degree.
• California veterinary license is required.
• DEA license required or able to obtain.
• Strong client communication and customer service skills; commitment to ongoing education.

Responsibilities

• Full-time doctors work 3-4 shifts per week.
• Must be available to work on Saturdays (some Saturdays).
• Provide medical and surgical care for dogs and cats; ultrasound and exotics are a plus.
• Urgent Care Practitioners handle mainly same-day appointments and emergencies, with non-complicated surgeries.
