Job summary

Prosegur Security USA, Inc is hiring a Security Officer to maintain a safe environment for clients and staff. The role involves unarmed security duties, patrols, reporting hazards, and interacting with clients in a professional manner.

You must be 18+, have a HS diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and strong English communication. The position requires weekend hours (Saturday-Sunday 06:00AM - 02:00PM) and the ability to work in all weather.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Clean driving record and valid driver license
• Capable of following complex instructions
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Willingness to participate in the company's screening process, including drug screen and background investigation
• Knowledge of security operations and procedures

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general Unarmed security duties to our clients.
• Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards.
• Understand and comply with Prosegur and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions.
• Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures.
• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
• This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.
• You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements as an Unarmed Security Officer.
