Job Summary and Qualifications

The Ultrasound Technologist performs various imaging procedures ordered by physicians, ensuring quality patient care in a diagnostic environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing imaging procedures as ordered.
• Ensuring quality patient care and safety.
• Performing surgical and portable exams.
• Following physician orders, documenting exams, verifying images in PACS.
• Adhering to quality controls and equipment procedures.
• Documenting patient history accurately.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• ARDMS registered or to be acquired within 6 months.
• Current BLS certification.
