Job summary

Lake Air Products is seeking a weekend shift Welder to join our manufacturing team. You will join and fabricate metal components using MIG and TIG welding, read blueprints, set up equipment, and inspect welds to ensure quality.

This role requires at least 1 year in TIG/MIG, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and commitment to safety. We offer competitive pay, full benefits, and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ year of experience in TIG, MIG, and Tack-weld.
• Ability to read blueprints and perform measurements.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, position, and secure parts and assemblies according to specifications.
• Observe tests on welded surfaces, such as hydrostatic, x-ray, and dimensional tolerance.
• Develop templates or tooling to hold and align parts.
• Determine required equipment and welding methods using metallurgy knowledge.
• Examine finished products and parts to ensure specifications are met.
• Inspect grooves, angles, or gap allowances with measuring instruments.
