Summary

The Yelp Customer Success team is seeking a dedicated and driven Customer Success Representative to provide a 5-star experience to our small business advertisers! As a member of the Customer Success team, you will support, consult, and retain our advertisers post-sale. We encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every requirement listed. This position requires working a permanent Saturday-Wednesday schedule: Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00am-4:00pm PST, and weekdays from either 8:00am-5:00pm or 9:00am-6:00pm in your timezone.This is a full-time role.

What you'll do:
  • Help strengthen Yelp’s revenue retention through exceptional and timely customer support
  • Manage inbound calls, consulting and educating our Yelp advertisers
  • Demonstrate the value of Yelp by highlighting ad performance and investment returns
  • Handle escalated clients using strong listening and conflict resolution skills
  • Become an expert in Yelp’s advertising solutions and adapt product recommendations to client needs, asking probing questions and handling objections effectively
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and internal teams
  • Stay organized and efficient in a fast-paced environment
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly goals
What it takes to succeed:
  • Bachelor's Degree or 3+ years of relevant client-facing experience
  • Proficiency with computers and information systems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Experience in account management, sales, advertising, or small business (preferred)
  • Passion for supporting local businesses and understanding their role in local economies
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle difficult conversations professionally and solutions-oriented
  • Willingness to accept and implement feedback
  • Comfort with a fast-changing environment
