Versant Media is seeking an Associate Tape Producer for The Weekend on MS NOW in New York. This role is represented by the Writers Guild of America East and requires strong editing and storytelling abilities for television and digital platforms.

The candidate will cut video, assist with desktop editing, and help post segments across MS NOW platforms while gathering elements and ensuring quality before air. Flexibility for tight deadlines and politics/digital content experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Must have at least 3 years production experience.
• Must be proficient with Desktop editing.

Responsibilities

• Straight cut video and work with editors on cutting compelling video.
• Assist producers with desktop editing for television and digital content.
• Assist with the editing and posting of segments, show-cast & other content across multiple MS NOW platforms.
• Gathering elements.
• Viewing all video to ensure quality before air.
• Assist Segment Producers with research & production.
• Work on content for the show’s digital platforms, social media and MS NOW’s DTC products.
