UPMC Passavant in Pittsburgh is seeking a Lead Surgical Technologist to support our operating room teams. This weekend position offers full-time benefits and a 24-hour weekly schedule with an additional 20% premium on base pay.

You will prepare sterile fields, anticipate surgeon needs, mentor new staff, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient care across multiple surgical specialties.

• Prepare and maintain sterile fields, instruments, supplies, and equipment for surgical procedures.
• Anticipate surgeon needs and provide expert intraoperative support.
• Assist with complex procedures in at least three surgical specialties.
• Coordinate instrumentation, equipment, and specialty supplies.
• Serve as a lead resource for Surgical Technologists and perioperative staff.
• Precept and mentor new employees and students.
• Monitor inventory, support equipment maintenance, and assist with specialty service operations.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to promote exceptional patient outcomes.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and support operational excellence.

Weekend positions enjoy full time benefits while working 24 hours/week and an additional 20% on top of their base pay!!

Shifts: Every Saturday and Sunday 7a-7:30p
