Job summary

Qualifications

• Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) preferred.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred.
• 4+ years experience preferred with committee and leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Participates in time-out procedures.
• Monitors and assesses operating room conditions.
• Prepares patients for surgery.

Skills

Knowledge of SPD sterile room

Ability to multitask

Advanced knowledge of sterile processing procedures

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Basic Life Support (BLS)
