Responsibilities

• Preparing and stocking operating room with supplies, equipment, and fluids to ensure procedures start smoothly.
• Transporting and transferring patients safely, verifying identity and following protocols for those with special needs or medical equipment.
• Cleaning and turning over operating rooms between cases and at day’s end to maintain a sterile environment.
• Monitoring equipment for issues and reporting concerns to support safe surgical operations.
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety throughout the surgical suite and common areas.
