Job Opportunity: Support Worker

Join one of the UK's largest providers of complex care, supporting children and young people with additional health needs to live at home with their families.

Position Details
  • Location: Family home in St Leonards, Hastings
  • Role: Support Worker for a 15-year-old boy with autism and challenging behavior
  • Schedule: Weekends only - every Sunday plus alternate Saturdays, day shifts (10 hours), alternating weekly between Saturdays and Sundays
  • Hours: 20 hours one week / 10 hours the next, part-time
Responsibilities
  • Supporting with medication, personal care, managing challenging behavior
  • Building rapport and supporting him during outings and adventures
  • Working in a team with double support shifts
Candidate Requirements
  • Outgoing, bubbly, enthusiastic, spontaneous personality
  • Experience with challenging behavior preferred
  • Good communication skills
  • Flexible and reliable
Additional Information
  • Full training, shadow shifts, and ongoing support provided
  • Up to £13.50 per hour depending on experience
