Job summary

Alpine Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Xenia, OH is seeking a Weekend State Tested Nurse Aide (STNA) to join our dedicated nursing team. You will assist residents with daily living activities, provide personal care and support emotional well-being in a compassionate, resident-centered environment.

This full-time position requires STNA certification, a high school diploma, and weekend availability (Fri–Sun).

Qualifications

• Must be State Tested Nurse Aide (STNA) certified.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work weekends (Fri–Sun).
• Ability to lift, transfer and move patients as needed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and caring attitude toward patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Provide personal care including toileting, ambulation and feeding.
• Assist with medication administration and record vital signs.
• Support residents with mobility and balance using assistive devices.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment per infection control policy.
• Develop relationships with residents, families and colleagues.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with best practices.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

As a Weekend State Tested Nurse Aide (STNA), you will play a vital role in our nursing team, assisting with daily living activities, personal care, and providing emotional support to our residents.
