Job summary

BAYADA is seeking a Per-Diem Weekend Start of Care Registered Nurse to perform home visits in Senior Living Facilities across Frederick County, Maryland. You will deliver high‑quality, individualized care with 1:1 attention and maintain detailed documentation using an EMR tablet.

Required: Home health experience and Medicare OASIS familiarity. Schedule options include Friday–Sunday or Saturday–Sunday, with 2–3 visits per day and flexible hours to support work‑life balance.

Qualifications

• Maryland RN license required.
• At least 1 year of clinical (medical/surgical) experience preferred.
• Home health experience and Medicare OASIS knowledge required.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Follow designated care plans for patients in Senior Living Facilities in Frederick County.
• Make home visits Friday–Sunday or Saturday–Sunday.
• Administer medications, wound care, treatments, and procedures.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to supervisor.
• Document orders and observations accurately in EMR on a tablet.

We have a Per-Diem Weekend Start of Care Registered Nurse opportunity open now doing visits in Senior Living Facilities throughout Frederick County, Maryland.

Home Health Experience and Medicare OASIS Experience are required.

Visits can be completed Friday through Sunday or Saturday and Sunday.

2-3 Start of Care visits per-day.

Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities:

• Follow a designated care plan in accordance with patient's needs
• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories
• Perform assigned duties, including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, and procedures
• Monitor clients' conditions; reporting changes to Clinical or Client Services Manager
• Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' orders
• Perform client assessments as necessary
• Case management and coordination
• Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to client care management and services provided, utilizing a state-of-the-art touch pad tablet

Qualifications for a Registered Nurse (RN):

• A current license as a Registered Nurse in Maryland.
• A minimum of one year of recent, verifiable clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
• Prior home care experience strongly preferred, but not required.
• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
• Ability to travel to cases as assigned.

Additional Information:

Base Pay, depending upon qualifications: $55.00-$62.00 per point.
