Job summary

US Fertility in Washington, DC area is seeking a Sonographer to join our fertility-focused team on a part-time, weekend schedule. You will perform detailed ultrasound exams, document results in EMR, and provide patient explanations while upholding MD protocols.

Qualifications

• Completion of formal Ultrasound training in an AMA approved school and eligibility for ARDMS registration.
• RDMS/RVT certification is required.
• Ability to follow MD protocols for ultrasound procedures.
• Ability to operate ultrasound equipment used in fertility imaging.
• Prior fertility patient experience is strongly preferred.
• Minimum two years of ultrasound technologist experience in women's health.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed examinations of anatomy/pathology.
• Take necessary measurements and calculations.
• Document results in the electronic medical record.
• Establish rapport with patients and communicate procedures clearly.
