Job summary

SITDOWN FORKLIFT is seeking a forklift operator for weekend shifts. The role operates gasoline-, liquefied gas-, or electric-powered industrial equipment to move products, with a $20.50/hour wage plus a $3.00 shift differential.

You will load, unload, stock, and stage goods in a distribution center or yard, ensuring safety and efficiency. Responsibilities include inspecting equipment daily, maintaining inventory accuracy, and coordinating with Customer Service, Transportation, and Maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; three or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products using powered industrial equipment; inspect equipment daily; operate safely per OSHA standards.
• Unload inbound shipments and move product to storage locations; stack and store as appropriate.
• Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring correct items and quantities are loaded.
• Move product from staging/storage into rail cars, trailers, or containers.
• Ensure accuracy and condition of inbound/outbound shipments; report damage or variances.
• Maintain inventory records; assist with physical inventories and stock rotation.
• Follow customer requirements for load count, stability, and safe handling; coordinate with other departments.
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance; practice good housekeeping.
