CoWorx is seeking a Sit-Down Forklift Electrical Associate for the Buckeye, Arizona area. The role involves picking and packing orders, printing labels, inspecting products, and using a sit-down forklift to prepare shipments.

Weekend shift Friday – Sunday 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM. The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and two years of sit-down forklift experience, with duties including packing, labeling, recording information, and ensuring shipping compliance.

Qualifications

• Two years of sit-down forklift experience required.
• Basic computer skills are preferred.
• Attention to detail is essential.
• Must pass background and drug screen.
• Able to complete physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders for shipment, ensuring the correct number and type of product is loaded.
• Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.
• Operate a sit-down electrical forklift or order picker for picking orders as needed.
• Pack orders for shipments by parcel, LTL, and TL carriers.
• Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records.
• Affix proper shipping and tracking labels to boxes and pallets; follow DOT/IATA/IMDG labeling rules.
• Report missing items or quality variances to supervisor.
• Ensure outbound shipments are accurate and undamaged.
• Inspect containers, materials, and products to meet packing specifications.
• Conduct quality inspections per Standard Operating Procedures.
• Participate in Inventory/Cycle Counts as needed.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Assist with ensuring facility readiness for SQFI, FDA, and customer needs.
• Communicate and report incidents.
• May perform housekeeping duties.
• Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned by Supervisor.

About the Position: The Associate is responsible for picking and/or packing orders, label printing and inspecting products for orders, and utilizing the specific equipment to pick, pack, and kit products in preparation for shipping and receiving demands to meet customer needs.

• Pick orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is loaded.

• May be required to operate a sit-down electrical forklift or order picker for picking orders.
• Pack orders for shipments by parcel, LTL, and TL carriers.
• Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records.
• Affix proper shipping and tracking labels to boxes and pallets. Mark and label shipping boxes or products per DOT, IATA, IMDG regulations.
• Report missing items or quality variances to direct supervisor.
• Ensure outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
• Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure that packing specifications are met.
• Execute and document quality inspections per Standard
• Operating Procedures.
• Participate in Inventory/Cycle Count as needed.
• Maintain clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Ensure facility is inspection ready at all times for SQFI, FDA, and customer needs.
• Communicate and report any incidents.
• May perform housekeeping duties.
• Miscellaneous tasks as assigned by Supervisor.

Desired Background/Skills:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Two years of Sit-down forklift experience
• One year of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred
• Basic computer skills
• Attention to detail
• Pass Background and Drug Screen
• Able to complete physical tasks (stooping, walking, lifting up to 50lbs)
