Rheem in Randleman, NC, is seeking a support role to maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and inventory verification. The candidate must perform blind counts, maintain quality standards, and assist in reporting any mechanical issues.
A high school diploma or GED is required, along with a preference for three years of manufacturing experience. Candidates should be able to operate forklifts and be proficient with office software.
Support management in maintaining inventory accuracy by performing routine cycle counts, verifying quantities, and recording findings.
Friday - Sunday 6:00am - 7:30pm
Starting at $20.50/hr
Perform blind cycle counts of inventory in specific locations using system generated reports of a specific inventory on any given day.
Record and enter the results of blind counts into the system with accuracy.
Conduct unscheduled cycle counts as directed by management after scheduled counts have been completed.
Physically verify inventory for raw material, purchased parts, and in-process manufactured parts to ensure alignment with system quantities.
File and maintain accurate records of all materials counted and scheduled reports.
Use scales to weigh parts when necessary.
Report any unusual mechanical or operating conditions to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain quality standards in accordance with company specifications.
Regular attendance is expected and required.
High school diploma or GED required.
Three years of manufacturing experience preferred.
Ability to obtain Rheem forklift license to operate a hand truck, order picker, and/or forklift.
Ability to use scan guns to record inventory adjustments.
Proficient use of office PC and systems, including Oracle, email, Word, and Excel.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills with both internally and external persons.
Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team setting.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and maintain accuracy with detailed work.
Ability to work at heights up to 35 feet.
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds on a continuous basis.
