Rheem Manufacturing Company in Randleman, North Carolina, is seeking a detail-oriented individual to support management in maintaining inventory accuracy. This role involves performing cycle counts, verifying quantities, and recording findings with an expected work schedule from Friday to Sunday, 6:00 am – 7:30 pm.

The ideal candidate must possess a high school diploma or GED and have at least three years of manufacturing experience. Proficiency in using Oracle, as well as excellent communication skills, is vital for this position. The starting hourly wage is $20.50.

Job Description

Support management in maintaining inventory accuracy by performing routine cycle counts, verifying quantities, and recording findings.

Friday – Sunday 6:00am – 7:30pm

Starting at $20.50/hr

Responsibilities

• Perform blind cycle counts of inventory in specific locations using system generated reports of a specific inventory on any given day.
• Record and enter the results of blind counts into the system with accuracy.
• Conduct unscheduled cycle counts as directed by management after scheduled counts have been completed.
• Physically verify inventory for raw material, purchased parts, and in-process manufactured parts to ensure alignment with system quantities.
• File and maintain accurate records of all materials counted and scheduled reports.
• Use scales to weigh parts when necessary.
• Report any unusual mechanical or operating conditions to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain quality standards in accordance with company specifications.
• Maintain good housekeeping.
• Regular attendance is expected and required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain Rheem forklift license to operate a hand truck, order picker, and/or forklift.
• Ability to use scan guns to record inventory adjustments.
• Proficient use of office PC and systems, including Oracle, email, Word, and Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with both internal and external persons.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team setting.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and maintain accuracy with detailed work.
• Ability to work at heights up to 35 feet.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds on a continuous basis.
