Job summary

Eaton Corporation’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is seeking an Assembler for the Weekend Shift to perform winding, assembly, wiring, and sub-assembly work for control equipment. You will follow drawings and specifications to complete assemblies and inspects quality performance.

The role requires lifting up to 35 pounds, reading blueprints, and overtime including weekends. This position is based in Asheville area, NC, with opportunities to contribute to final assembly and ongoing process

Qualifications

• Able to lift 35 pounds and handle overhead lifting.
• Able to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Proven history of safe work habits.
• Must work overtime, including weekends.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Mechanical/Electrical background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire control equipment per drawings.
• Select parts and materials from stock.
• Prepare wire for assembly and attach terminals.
• Assemble sub-assemblies and final product.
• Check electrical/mechanical performance and ensure quality.
• Maintain clean and organized work area and records.
• Operate power tools (manual, battery, and pneumatic).
