Job summary

Caldwell is seeking a Material Handler for the weekend shift in Rockford, IL. This regular full-time role runs Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, with a weekend differential of 22% of gross earnings per bi-weekly pay period.

You will move raw and work-in-process materials to the proper storage area, staging area, or the next operation work center, and, when required, kit all the parts needed for upcoming operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year forklift experience.
• Minimum one year overhead crane experience.
• Prior experience with ERP systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Move raw and work-in-process materials to the proper storage area, staging area, or the next operation work center.
• When required, kit all the parts needed for upcoming operations.
• Kits stock and/or sales order jobs from the work center priority list based on what is ready to be kitted and coming due.
• Route kitted jobs to their designated staging areas and to the next operation.
