Job Description: Weekend Shift Fitter Welder

Location: Claremore, OK

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Weekend Shift Fitter Welder to join our specialized team responsible for the assembly and fabrication of structural components. In this role, you will use your expertise in structural and sideframe fitting to ensure the accurate and efficient production of our high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to accurately fit and weld structural components
2. Perform specialized fitting tasks, such as aligning, positioning, and securing sideframes and other structural elements
3. Utilize welding equipment to join components according to industry standards and specifications
4. Collaborate with the production team to identify and resolve any issues or challenges
5. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience as a Structural Fitter and Sideframe Fitter, with a strong understanding of construction industry practices
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
• Skilled in the use of welding equipment and techniques
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• High school diploma or equivalent

Working Conditions:

This position is part of a weekend shift schedule, with potential for overtime as needed. The work environment is typical of a construction-related facility, with exposure to various weather conditions, noise, and physical demands. Appropriate personal protective equipment will be provided.

Compensation and Benefits:

The target pay rate for this position is $22 - $26 per hour, with a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement contributions, and paid time off.
