Job summary

Sizemore, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer to help maintain a safe, secure environment at our facility in Thomasville, GA. The role focuses on access control, incident reporting, and enforcing company policies, with a weekend shift.

You will patrol, monitor, and respond to emergencies, using CCTV and basic computer systems. The position offers a stable part-time schedule and the opportunity to grow within a dedicated team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Patrol experience and ability to enforce policies.
• Good communication and judgement are essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel.
• Document security activity with Daily Activity Report (DAR) and completes incident reports as required.
• Control vehicle and personnel access in accordance with established procedures.
• Responds to emergency situations in accordance with established procedures.
• Operates specialized equipment as needed (Closed-Circuit Television Systems, vehicle scales, computer systems, etc.)
• Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Drive a culture of constant improvement, identifying projects to increase effectiveness and efficiency.
• Enforce Sizemore’s and client’s policies and procedures.
• Other tasks may be assigned as required.
