Security Officer – Weekend Rover / Gate Keeper

Walden Security is hiring for a Weekend Rover ($17.25) Saturday and Sunday 0600‑1800 and a Gate Keeper ($16.50) Saturday and Sunday 1900‑0700.

All KUB Security officers will complete a 40‑hour training with a supervisor. An unarmed security license for the state of Tennessee (conceal‑carry permits are not a security license) is required, and we have a trainer that can assist those who don't hold a valid Tennessee security license.

Weekend Rover responsibilities include: conduct regular patrols on foot in chosen locations and in a vehicle to monitor premises; check for security breaches, machinery malfunction noises, and address concerns to management; respond quickly to alarms, emergencies or suspicious activities, acting as a first responder if needed and gathering preliminary investigative information; must be computer literate and able to complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate inspection records for the company vehicle.

Employees for these posts must have a valid driver’s license, an acceptable driving record (no more than one occurrence in the last five years) and be at least 25 years old to be covered under the Walden Security Auto Insurance Policy.

What you will do

Our Security Officers protect the industrial or commercial property of our clients against fire, vandalism, and illegal entry. Clients include class‑A office buildings, luxury residential properties, distilleries, Fortune 500 companies, financial institutions, telecommunications, manufacturing/industrial factories, hospitals, and many others.
