Planned Companies in Jersey City, NJ, is hiring Private Security Guards to perform routine patrols, access control, CCTV monitoring, and alarm response for residential and commercial properties.

The role requires 2+ years of security experience, a valid SORA and driver’s license, plus First Aid/BLS training. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) match. Schedule: Sat/Sun 2pm–10pm.

Qualifications

• SORA license and valid driver’s license required.
• 2+ years of security officer or guard experience.
• Knowledge of state security and public safety guidelines.
• Excellent surveillance and observation skills.
• Experience with CCTV surveillance systems.
• First Aid and BLS training.
• Strong report writing and verbal communication.
• High School diploma required.

Responsabilités

• Patrol property to deter incidents and maintain security.
• Verify access credentials for residents, guests, vendors, deliveries.
• Ensure exits, doors, and windows are secure.
• Monitor CCTV and identify disruptions.
• Respond to alarms and assess notifications.
• Provide security assistance to residents and guests.
• Report suspicious activity to authorities.
• Submit daily surveillance and incident reports.
