Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer for weekend shifts in Phoenix, AZ. You will provide customer service to tenants and visitors, perform routine patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents while maintaining a visible presence.

The role requires at least one year of security experience, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma or equivalent. You will support a safe environment using our tools to claim additional shifts and advance in the role.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience required.
• A valid driver’s license required per policy.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check as per laws; drug screen as permitted.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property management personnel.
• Respond to incidents calmly and escalate as needed per site protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, common areas, parking facilities, entrances, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation per procedures.
