Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring for a Part Time armed security position at a government location in Phoenix. You will provide customer service, follow site policies, perform security procedures, and respond to incidents during your night shifts on Saturdays and Sundays.

The role requires an armed guard card, a high school diploma or GED, and background checks; candidates must be at least 21 and pass a drug screen where permitted by law. A valid driver’s license is needed for driving posts.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Background investigation required by federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures at a government location.
• Respond to incidents and prepare timely activity and incident reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, and parking areas.
• Monitor access points and verify identification to deter unauthorized entry.
• Maintain an armed presence and follow post orders and applicable laws while interacting professionally.
