Securitas, Inc. is hiring a Part Time Security Officer for Walcott, IA. The role supports a safe and secure environment by monitoring premises, enforcing site regulations, and performing access control.

The position runs Saturdays and Sundays from 6 AM to 2 PM, totaling 16 hours weekly, at $19.00 per hour. Responsibilities include patrolling, reporting safety issues, responding to emergencies, and assisting employees and visitors.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process.

Responsibilities

• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Conduct foot patrols of the property.
• Fire watch.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.
