Job summary

BOS Security, Inc. is hiring a part-time security professional for the Athens, GA area. The role includes Saturday and Sunday shifts from 8 AM to 4 PM, with opportunities to pick up additional shifts during the week based on availability.

Responsibilities include monitoring an alert system, patrolling, greeting guests, and ensuring the security of doors, windows and gates. Candidates must have strong customer service skills and be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Qualifications

• Security, law enforcement, military, or related experience preferred.
• Stable work history required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Clean driving record required.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check; random drug testing applies.
• Must have smartphone, valid driver’s license, and own reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients at an assisted living facility and respond to alerts.
• Provide exceptional customer service and professional communication.
• Patrols buildings and grounds on foot; round hourly.
• Greet guests at front gate and ensure security.
• Inspect doors, windows, and gates for security integrity.
• Record data on inspections and incidents for supervision.
