Job summary

NSG, Inc. is seeking dedicated Security Officers for the 2nd shift on weekends at a downtown Cincinnati location. Candidates will patrol the facility, monitor entrances, and ensure a secure environment for clients.

Applicants must pass pre-employment background and drug screening, have a high school diploma or GED, and be able to obtain an Ohio security license. A professional, calm demeanor and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.
• Ohio security license must be obtainable.
• Excellent observation and detail orientation.
• Strong verbal communication and public interaction.
• Weekend shift: Saturdays and Sundays 3:30p–11:30p.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled walking rounds inside and outside the facility.
• Monitor entrances/exits, inspect property, and monitor visitors.
• Escalate incidents to NSG leadership and property owners as needed.
• De-escalate conflicts using verbal techniques and maintain calm demeanor.
• After hours, verify doors, windows, and gates security.
• Report suspicious activity promptly to NSG leadership.
• Deter unauthorized access and guide trespassers off premises.
• Provide visible security presence to deter threats.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
