Job summary

Securitas is seeking a Weekend Security Officer to monitor and protect client sites during weekend shifts. You will observe activities, report incidents, and provide customer service to employees and visitors.

The role requires standing, walking, and occasional stair climbing, with long periods of vigilance on site. Located in Saxonburg, PA, this part-time weekend position offers an hourly wage and benefits including retirement, insurance, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• No prior security experience required; training will be provided.
• Retail, food-service or hospitality background encouraged.

Job Title

Weekend Security Officer

Compensation & Schedule

Wage: $17.80 per hour

Weekend/overnight hours; not bus accessible.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site, ensuring the security and safety of property and personnel.
• Perform regular patrols, standing, sitting, and walking for extended periods, including climbing stairs and traversing uneven terrain.
• Provide customer service and information to employees and visitors.

Qualifications

• Strong customer‑service skills.
• Ability to complete patrols.
• Strong technology skills (cell phone/computer).
• Prior security experience preferred.
• Pass required drug screen and background check.
• Meet all applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent sitting, standing, walking, climbing stairs, and walking up inclines on uneven terrain.
• Frequent lifting up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
