Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Security Coordinator for the weekend shift in Clayton, IN. The role focuses on coordinating security and loss prevention functions to reduce shrink and protect assets across the facility.

You’ll develop awareness programs, conduct investigations, perform audits, and work with operations, HR and leadership to maintain a safe and compliant workplace. Strong communication and investigative skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience.
• Experience in a security or loss prevention environment with duties focused on investigations, audits and awareness programs.
• Experience responding to inquiries from customers, law enforcement, regulators, or business community.
• Knowledge of and experience with security systems.
• 5 years of Loss Prevention/Asset Protection experience (preferred).
• Formal investigative/interview training and relevant certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage security awareness programs to prevent losses and promote safety.
• Initiate investigations with Site Security Manager using loss trend data and internal reports.
• Conduct security audits and surveys to identify vulnerabilities and policy violations.
• Assist operations in creating action plans to ensure compliance with security measures and safe workplaces.
• Build and maintain relationships with business operations and HR teams within the area of responsibility.
• Develop and provide security reports to regional leadership on ongoing security and loss prevention activities.
• Coordinate with Legal, HR, Internal Audit and other departments, vendors and authorities as needed.
