Chalet Living and Rehab seeks a Security Officer to help ensure the safety and security of residents in our Rogers Park facility. The role involves monitoring for safety concerns, investigating suspicious activity, deescalating situations, and coordinating sign-in/sign-out procedures for residents and visitors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2–5 years of experience as security officer preferred; we will invest in the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the facility to identify potential safety concerns and emergencies.
• Investigate suspicious activity and deescalate altercations.
• Coordinate residents signing in and out and ensure visitors are screened.
• Provide a safe environment and maintain the high standard of care for residents.

This job is for Saturday and Sunday - With Potential to help out during the weekdays.

As a Security Officer you are instrumental in ensuring the safety of our residents. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Chalet Living and Rehab by monitoring the facility for any potential safety concerns and emergency situations, investigating suspicious activity, deescalating altercations, coordinating residents signing in and out and ensuring visitors are approved to enter the facility. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have: As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent and (2) years of experience in a Security Officer role. Three to five (3-5) years of experience in a Security Officer role is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
