Job summary

Montgomery County Public Schools is seeking a Building Service Worker for Hoover Middle School, Fridays–Sundays (20 hrs/week). Qualifications

• Completion of ninth grade required; HS diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in cleaning of buildings and grounds.
• Must obtain boiler certificate for safe operation.

Responsibilities

• Clean buildings and perform facilities and grounds maintenance.
• Operate and maintain custodial and grounds equipment.
• Work Saturdays and Sundays to support community use of MCPS facilities.
• Maintain security of school buildings during weekend shifts; respond to incidents.
