The role involves developing work schedules for caregivers, ensuring staffing accuracy, and assisting in caregiver orientation. The Scheduling / Staffing Coordinator is responsible for developing and continually monitoring work schedules for Caregivers to meet patient care needs. This includes adjusting staffing according to available staff, reporting changes to supervisors, ensuring accuracy of time reports, verifying hours worked daily, including bonus hours, overtime, and benefit days, and calculating staffing based on the adjusted census daily.
