Kraft Heinz in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a dedicated Sanitation Associate for the Weekend Nights shift (Thu-Fri 10:00pm-6:30am; Sat-Sun 6:00pm-6:30am). This hourly manufacturing role focuses on keeping production areas clean and sanitary in a 3-shift facility serving frozen soups and macaroni & cheese.

You will pre-wash, wash, sanitize equipment, manage COP Tank cleaning, and participate in routine sanitation tasks across spice, prep, cook, and packaging zones.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Knowledge of chemical handling for sanitation.
• Experience with sanitation procedures and cleaning protocols.
• Ability to work in hot and cold environments.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Follow food safety policies and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Pre-wash, wash, sanitize, post-wash equipment as needed.
• Clean equipment in parts carts utilizing COP Tank.
• Inspect parts carts to ensure correct location of parts.
• Empty trash cans and keep areas free from debris; dry pick floors as needed.
• Wash pallets.
• Inspect drains and replace baskets.
• Conduct titration of COP wash solutions.
• MSS scheduled cleanings.
• Other duties as assigned.
