Kenansville Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Kenansville, NC seeks an experienced RN Weekend Unit Manager to oversee nursing care on the unit and ensure accurate medication administration and charting.

The role provides shift supervision of CNAs and staff, coordinates care plans, and communicates changes in residents' conditions to physicians and families, while upholding patient rights and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN or LPN license.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality nursing care to Residents in an environment that promotes their rights, dignity and freedom of choice.
• Supervises CNAs and subordinate staff ensuring assignments are completed.
• Supervises direct care of residents and nursing personnel on shift.
• Gives and receives shift reports.
• Rounds unit multiple times to ensure proper care in a safe, clean environment.
• Keeps physicians and families aware of changes in resident’s condition.
• Assists in developing comprehensive care plans.
• Documents care provided and other information with strict confidentiality.
• Maintains infection control and safety precautions in care delivery.
