Job summary

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Coordinator for the Post- Surgical Unit in Norfolk, VA. The unit offers a weekend-day shift (Fri/Sat/Sun or Sat/Sun/Mon) and a sign-on bonus up to $15,000 with relocation options.

The RN UC provides clinical leadership, supports safety initiatives, and enhances staff workflow on a 42-bed telemetry unit caring for diverse surgical patients. BSN is required with 18 months of nursing experience.

Qualifications

• BSN degree required.
• Virginia RN license required.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• 18 months nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership for safety and quality initiatives.
• Lead workflow improvements and staff development in the unit.
• Support delivery of care for post-surgical patients on telemetry.
