Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN)
• Current state RN licensure
• ACLS/BLS certifications current or within required timeline
• One year RN experience or completion of Cleveland Clinic perioperative residency

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional nursing care in an operative setting for adult and pediatric patients
• Perform scrub functions: instrument handling and supplies management
• Perform circulating functions: monitor, document, and communicate patient condition during perioperative care
• Assist operating physician with surgical tasks such as hemostasis, suturing, and patient positioning
• Prepare the Operating Room and equipment for use
