Job summary

Regency Healthcare and Rehab Center in Huntsville, AL is seeking a weekend supervisor RN to oversee the delivery of care for residents in a skilled nursing setting. You will assess needs, develop care plans, administer and evaluate nursing care, and supervise RNs, LPNs, CNAs and other staff to ensure high-quality, resident-centered outcomes.

The role may be full-time or part-time depending on staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current state license.
• Two years of supervisory experience.
• Excellent technical, assessment and documentation skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skill.
• Organized and detailed in work performance.
• Genuine caring for and interest in elderly and disabled people in a nursing facility.

Responsibilities

• Supervise RNs, LPNs, CNAs and other personnel delivering nursing care.
• Assess resident needs and develop individual plans of care.
• Administer, evaluate and adjust nursing care as required.
• Transcribe physician orders accurately and notify clinicians of significant changes.
• Maintain and complete medical records and reporting forms.
• Collaborate with physicians and other health professionals to update care plans.
• Coach and discipline staff as needed to ensure quality resident care.
