Job summary

Eastern Health Group in Virginia Beach seeks an experienced RN Supervisor to provide direct nursing care and supervise day-to-day activities of nursing assistants. This role ensures care aligns with federal, state, and local requirements while supporting residents' wellness and independence.

The RN Supervisor will coordinate care plans, monitor medications and vital signs, supervise staff, and participate in discharge planning. Benefits include a sign-on bonus and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse license.
Current CPR certification.
Strong technical, assessment and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with healthcare team to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans.
Prepare and administer medications and record administrations per policy.
Educate patients on procedures.
Record vital signs and medical information.
Monitor equipment and interpret displays.
Initiate corrective action for adverse symptoms.
Provide bedside care for pre/post-surgery patients.
Assist with discharge planning.
Document care concisely and timely.
