Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in long-term care.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of infection control protocols and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Must be able to read and write in English, lift and transfer a minimum of 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff and ensure proper staffing levels during weekend shifts.
• Provide quality direct nursing care on units or floors assigned.
• Coordinate resident care and address any clinical concerns promptly.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required.
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
• Monitor and enforce infection control practices throughout the facility.
• Provide education and training on infection prevention measures.
• Conduct regular audits of hand hygiene and sanitation procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned to maintain quality standards and facility viability
