Job summary

Ansley Park Health & Rehab in Newnan, GA is seeking an RN to support nursing leadership on weekends and part-time hours. You will supervise licensed and unlicensed staff, coordinate admissions and transfers, and ensure accurate documentation and billing.

Collaboration with physicians and coordination of care plans are essential to patient outcomes. The role requires an active GA RN license, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to manage care planning and regulatory

Qualifications

• A Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or is a graduate of an approved RN program.
• Active RN License to practice in the state of Georgia.
• Ability to read and interpret documents; write routine reports and correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Organize and direct day-to-day nursing staff activities with Directors guidance.
• Admit, discharge and transfer patients as requested and coordinate care.
• Maintain documentation and supplies; communicate with physicians regularly.
• Assist in care planning/MDS process and committee meetings as needed.
• Coordinate with physicians and arrange transportation for appointments.
• Provide staff education and supervise licensed/unlicensed personnel.
