Job summary

Elizabethtown Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Kentucky, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to lead a dedicated nursing team and oversee shift operations. You will coordinate staffing, ensure safe medication administration, and maintain accurate resident records.

You will collaborate with physicians, monitor residents’ conditions, and participate in care planning to uphold high standards of care and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Current State RN license with minimum 2 years related experience.
• Good standing in the state registry is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing unit including scheduling and directing nursing staff.
• Coordinate use of personnel, supplies, equipment and facilities; obtain medications and medical records.
• Contact physicians and ensure timely interventions; document resident care.
• Review staffing patterns and census; reassign personnel to meet needs and budget.
• Investigate complaints and resolve problems; ensure compliance with regulations.
• Perform and document charting of care plans, progress notes, and vital signs.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in care conferences as needed.
