Job summary

Elizabethtown Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking an RN to organize and direct assigned unit duties to provide quality nursing care to residents. The role involves direct patient care, medication administration, and adherence to care plans and protocols.

You will explain procedures, document progress, and participate in care conferences while coordinating with therapists and supervising CNAs to ensure high standards of resident safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• Good standing in the state registry is required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for total nursing care of residents in the assigned unit.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments per nursing techniques.
• Transcribes physician's orders and documents progress notes.
• Responds to emergencies per policies and protocols.
• Coordinates rehabilitation with therapists to meet 24-hour needs.
• Assists in completion of care plans and participates in care conferences.
• Ensures care plans are followed and CNA staff reference the plan.
