Job summary

West State Street in Lexington, NC is seeking a Weekend RN Supervisor to lead nursing unit operations on the assigned shift. Availability includes Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with options for 7:00 PM–7:00 AM or 7:00 AM–7:00 PM and a weekend differential of $2–$3.50 per hour.

The role emphasizes ensuring compliant, high-quality care while coordinating with other departments and supporting staff through training and scheduling. RN licensure is required; BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred
• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing

Responsibilities

• Lead, guide and direct the clinical operations of the nursing units on assigned shift including ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, practice standards and regulations
• Facilitate the implementation of the care delivery model and processes, mentoring staff, along with coordination and communication with other departments
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing staff to provide safe, 24/7 nursing care with an emphasis on limiting use of overtime and agency personnel
• Participate in staff recruitment, new hire orientation and make recommendations for employee promotions, transfers, and terminations
